Alberto Angeloni is Senior Counsel in the Litigation & Regulatory department and works in the Rome office. Mr. Angeloni handles domestic, international and EC bankruptcy law, litigation and out-of-court settlements.
He defends clients in bankruptcy proceedings such as bankruptcy revocations, pre-bankruptcy proceedings, appeals against bankruptcy rulings, motions for approval of debt restructuring agreements, and all issues relating to domestic and cross-border insolvency proceedings. He also represents clients (debtors and creditors) in all aspects of company reorganizations and restructurings, adopting the non-judicial insolvency measures provided for by bankruptcy law.
He has extensive experience in company litigation, particularly with regards to the duties and liabilities of directors and supervisory bodies. He graduated in law from La Sapienza University (Rome) and earned a Master of Laws degree from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in business reorganization.
He completed his legal training in Italy and is a Fellow of INSOL International.
